Support for the inclusion of people with disabilities in the labour market (2019 - )

Date: 2019 -
Web: Official website of the programme
Description: The programme seeks to ensure that public and private institutions subject to the implementation of Law No. 21.015 have inclusive processes for hiring people with disabilities. To this end, two components are implemented: Promotion of the right to work for persons with disabilities, and the strengthening of competencies for the inclusion of persons with disabilities in the labour market. They will be delivered in two modalities to entities that must comply with Law 21.015, generating 400 spots for face-to-face training for institutions that must hire at least 15 people with disabilities, and 400 spots for online training for institutions over 100 workers. At the end of the programme, it is expected that the recipient institutions will have professionals trained in labour and disability issues, favouring the labour inclusion processes of people with disabilities.
