Programme 4 to 7 (2011 - )

Date:
Web: Official website of the programme
Description: The programme seeks to resolve the problem of scarce access to childcare services for children from 6 to 13 years of age, in the 4 to 7 hour extended time frame, which limits women's possibilities of participating in the labour market. For this purpose, a childcare space is available, so that women have enough time to devote to work, studies, etc. Specifically, in the integral child care component, workshops are held aimed firstly at generating educational opportunities so that children have the necessary time and pedagogical support to navigate their schooling, without the disadvantage of not having the help of a responsible adult and, on the other hand, with spaces for the use of free time in recreational, sports, social, artistic, and cultural activities, which are of interest to them and in accordance with their development and learning needs. In addition, a transversal support component is implemented for the economic autonomy of women, consisting of four workshops during the period, differentiated according to job profile, whose objective is to promote empowerment processes that facilitate their participation in the labour market, and thus advance in the exercise of their economic autonomy.
