Description: The programme promotes the creation of new job opportunities for young people, women and people with disabilities, through an economic benefit that the state will grant to companies that enrol in the programme and increase their staff. Through the programme, participants acquire new skills and experience, which will improve their chances of finding quality jobs. For their part, companies have an incentive to increase their workforce and train workers according to their needs.

1) Job Creation

Recipient of the transfer: Participating companies
Comments: Companies may recruit a maximum of 20 persons under this programme.
Description: The benefit that the state will grant to companies is equivalent to ¢1,456,000.00 for each worker hired under My First Job. It will be paid by transfer to the company in two equal amounts, namely the first six months after the start of the programme and the second at the end of the year.

 

2) Dual formation

Description: The Ministry of Labour and Social Security together with the National Learning Institute (INA) will promote the incorporation of more companies in the Dual Training programme. In these trainings, people will be trained in soft skills in the world of work such as group cohesion, oral, written and assertive communication, life project, basic financial education and preparation for the job interview; they also receive basic computer courses, internet and MS Office through the MICIT's Intelligent Community Centres (CECIs) that are in all the cantons of the country.
