Description: | The project has two components: one urban and one rural: in urban areas, micro-credits of between 5,000 and 25,000 HTG are granted for periods of 6 to 12 months with an annual exchange rate of 6%. In rural areas, micro-credits of 5,000 HTG are granted for periods of up to 6 months. In both cases, a guarantee group of 5 persons is formed to guarantee the loans and ensure a better repayment rate.
