Description: Ciudad Mujer (CM), a regional reference programme to promote women's well-being, socio-economic inclusion, and empowerment, was originally created by the Government of El Salvador in March 2011 under the leadership and coordination of the Secretariat of Social Inclusion (SIS). CM unites under one roof specialised and strategic services in the framework of a programme of integrated services for women's empowerment (SIEM), which are provided through comprehensive care centres called Ciudad Mujer Centres (CCM).
