Description: The objective of the programme is to "improve access to markets for poor rural producers in selected areas of the country through a model of productive-rural alliances". Through the productive alliances model, the PAR will contribute in the medium and long term to improve the income of rural families and to alleviate poverty.
To achieve this objective, the project:
- Promotes productive alliances between the different organisations of small rural producers and buyers.
- Consolidates the empowerment of rural producers through the formalisation and strengthening of self-managed grassroots organisations.
- Improves access to productive assets, technology, and financial services.
- Promotes more effective, responsive, and accountable professional and technical services at the local level.
- Improves the environmental sustainability of productive practices.
