Description: | The programme contributes to the productive inclusion strategy of the Brazil Sem Miséria Plan, by supporting the productive investments of family farmers and vulnerable traditional peoples and communities. The programme seeks to stimulate the generation of work and sustainable income, as well as to encourage the associative and cooperative organization of the participants and their entrepreneurship skills. Productive projects can be individual or collective, agricultural or non-agricultural. |

Exit strategies or criteria: | The transfer of resources depends on the signature of the adhesion term and the presentation of the structuring project of the family unit. The release of the second and third parts depends on the presentation of accompaniment awards from the family productive unit by the technical assistance team, confirming the progress in the development of the structuring project. The minimum terms are six and twelve months after the release of the first plot. In case of exceptional situations that prevent or delay the execution of the project, the term may be extended in up to six months. |
Comments: | The participants are selected by the entity ATER (Technical Assistance and Rural Extension) based on a guiding list available to the federal government, as well as through an active search of families eligible that are not part of the guiding list. 1) Promotion Brasil Sem Miséria Transfer
Recipient(s): | Participants belonging to Brazil Sem Miséria (monthly income up to BRL $ 89 per person in 2021) |

Description: | Monetary transfer for a total amount of BRL$ 2,400, it can be delivered in two or three instalments. When the amount is delivered in two instalments, the first is by an amount of BRL$ 1,400 and the second is BRL$ 1,000. If the total transfer is delivered in 3 instalments, the first is BRL$ 1,000, and both the second and third are equivalent to BRL$ 700 each. |
2) Semi-Arid Development Transfer

Comments: | To participate in this modality, families must have water storage for agricultural production and the minimum production capacity for its implementation.Therefore, families that have been attended or selected by the Cisterns Program and other actions of the Water for All Program will have priority. |
Description: | This modality was created in 2013. The amount of the transfer is equivalent to BRL$3,000 (BRL$ 1,800 for the first one and BRL$ 1,200 for the second one) |
3) Technical assistance services

Description: | Families participate in meetings, field trips and training, and receive visits from Technical Assistance and Rural Extension (ATER) technicians. The technicians accompany the families throughout the development of their productive project, supporting them in order to allow them to manage the financial resources in an appropriate way. |

Description: | The social and productive monitoring of families will include the following activities: i) Identification of the members of the participating families, their socioeconomic conditions and access to factors of production, their vulnerabilities and their potentialities; ii) Articulation for families to access other public policies needed to reduce their vulnerabilities; iii) Guidance to participants' family members regarding identification documents and access to other public policies; iv) Regular monitoring of family development through home visits |
