Description: The programme serves people 16 years of age or older, who need to acquire or reconvert their qualification or job skills to facilitate their placement in a job or to develop an activity on their own. The objective of the programme is to promote job placement or formal productive activity for job seekers, through the provision of services, monetary or in-kind support, through three subprograms: Apoyos de Capacitación para la Empleabilidad, Fomento al Autoempleo y Movilidad Laboral

Instrument of selection: The participant must comply with the requirements and documentation established by the PAE. The job seeker will be in charge of processing 'Supports for job search', after this, the applicant will be interviewed by the OSNE (National Employment Service Offices) and eventually chosen to benefit from the programme.

Comments: People who already participated in any of the PAE sub-programmes and who require additional intervention in any of the sub-programmes will be able to access. Until 2019 there was the Bécate and Repatriates working component.

1) Employability Training Support

Recipient(s): Unemployed persons aged 16 years and over, with at most tertiary level education
Recipient of the transfer: Direct recipient
Description: This sub-programme supports jobseekers who require training to facilitate their placement or development of a productive activity on their own account. The training and support to the selected job seekers is implemented through courses in the modalities of Company and Classroom. For both modalities, there is a scholarship for a maximum amount of MXN$ 300,000 for the participant attending the course.

 

2) Support for independent work

Recipient(s): Seekers of a non-salaried job between 20 and 69 years, with maximum studies of higher level
Recipient of the transfer: Direct recipient
Comments: The goods delivered will be withdrawn from him/her, when he/she fails to comply with any of the established obligations and/or is identified as having provided false data or documents; such goods may be reallocated to another initiative.
Description: This sub-programme provides in-kind support consisting of furniture, machinery, equipment and/or tools to selected participants who have the skills and work experience of at least six months to develop a self-employed initiative. In case of not having such experience, participants will have the option to take a training course of the Bécate sub-programme, whose speciality must correspond to the proposal. Support can be up to MXN$ 25,000 per person and up to MXN$ 125,000 pesos for groups of five or more people.

 

3) Internal labor mobility

Recipient(s): Agricultural workers seeking employment between 20 and 69 years of age, with at most lower secondary education.
Recipient of the transfer: Direct recipient
Description: This subprogramme provides financial support to selected participants who are engaged in agricultural activities and who, at the request of employers, are required to move to a federal entity different from their place of residence in order to carry out seasonal activities. The support granted will be up to MXN$ 1,800.
