Description: The Social Pension Program is intended for people over the age of 75 who do not receive pension benefits or support from government anti-poverty programs.
   

Characteristics

Target population: People aged 75, who are citizens of Jamaica and do not receive any type of benefit from the State
Geographic scale: National
Targeting method: Direct Means Test
Exit strategies or criteria: The recipients will be disqualified from obtaining the pension if they are inmates of a public institution that offers free accommodation.
Comments: People who meet the requirements and are enrolled in the PATH program will be automatically transferred to the Social Pension.
