Description: Conditional cash transfer programmes, formerly part of the Bono de Desarrollo Humano (BDH) successor to the Bono Solidario. These non contributory pensions are adressed to older people (over 65 years) who suffer of poverty or extreme poverty and do not have access to the public social security system.

Comments: From 2018, the program is gradually phased out, transfering the receptors to the My Best Years Pension program As part of the measures to face the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic and social isolation, the Family Protection Bonus was delivered for an amount of USD $60 in April, May and June 2020. Pension for Old-age users in a situation of underemployment and with incomes of less than USD $400 per month had the right to receive this measure. There was also a temporary increase in the transfer to recipients of Social Protection Grants, including the BDH. The amount was paid in 6 payments of USD $15, every two months, from December 2020 to October 2021, for a total of USD $90 per user.

Recipient(s): Adults over 65 years without social security, who are in poverty and extreme poverty. In case of the Pensión para adultos mayores they should have less than 34.67 points in the Registro Social at 2014.
