| Description: | For unskilled labour workers, the Programme contributes a maximum sum of COP $ 180,000 monthly per participant (in 2001 prices), for a maximum of five months in a half-time working-day. |

2) Purchase of materials

| Description: | The financing of materials is partial and restricted to projects submitted before December 2002 by territorial entities (mayors, governorate districts or their decentralized entities). The projects must have a total cost between 40 and 300 million Colombian pesos (at 2001 prices). Proponents may be the departments, districts, municipalities, public sector companies, non-profit entities, associative labour enterprises, non-governmental organizations or community-based institutions. The proponent must guarantee the necessary resources to supplement the monetary contribution of the Programme and thus cover the total costs of the project. The direct executor of the works could be the proponent, its contractor or the community. |
