National Programme for the Promotion of Employment Opportunities "Impulsa Perú" (Ex Vamos Peru) (2011- 2021)

Description: The programme aims to promote employment, improve labour skills and increase employability levels in the country. On 23 October 2020, through Supreme Decree N° 019-2020-TR, the merger of the Impulsa Perú and Jóvenes Productivos programmes was approved, giving way to the creation of the National Employability Programme. Accordingly, training, promotion of self-employment and certification of labour skills will be provided to people aged 15 and over, who are in poverty, extreme poverty and/or socio-labour vulnerability in order to improve their employability.

Target population: Citizens over 18 years of age who are unemployed, underemployed, at risk of unemployment or workers who have experienced a decrease in income.

1) Training for labour insertion

Recipient(s): Programme participants over 30 years old
Recipient of the transfer: Direct participant
Description: The programme, in agreement with Specialised Training Entities, provides courses according to the demand of the labour market. The aim of the training is to develop and strengthen the labour competencies of the participants in order to improve their employability and facilitate their access to the labour market.

 

2) Certification of Competences

Recipient(s): Programme participants over 18 years old
Recipient of the transfer: Direct participant
Description: It is the public, formal, temporary and documented recognition of the work competences demonstrated by a person, according to their competences linked to an occupational profile. Participants who wish to voluntarily submit to the assessment (written and performance) of work competences must have 2 years of general experience and one year of experience in the occupational profile to be assessed.

 

3) Orientation, Training and Technical Assistance for Entrepreneurs

Recipient(s):
Recipient of the transfer: Direct participant
Description: The programme, in agreement with Specialised Training Entities, provides the service of "Guidance, Training and Technical Assistance for Entrepreneurs", aimed at people who wish to set up their own businesses or strengthen their initial ventures.
