| Descripción: | The United Nations Office on Sport for Development and Peace (UNOSDP) is pleased to announce the top 10 entries of the 2015 International Day of Sport for Development and Peace Video Contest. Grupo Internacional de Paz (GIP) runs its projects in a number of violence-affected communities in Colombia, helping children and adolescents develop life skills which would make them more resilient to the threats of the environment. This is achieved through the game of baseball, by drawing analogies between behaviour on the field and in everyday life situations. Today GIP has 510 beneficiaries in 7 municipalities of Colombia. |
