Descripción: A century ago, the founders of the ILO recognized the importance of social justice in securing peace, against a background of the exploitation of workers in the industrializing nations of that time. Reflecting these ideas, the preamble to the Constitution of the ILO was drafted by representatives of Belgium, Cuba, Czechoslovakia, France, Italy, Japan, Poland, the United Kingdom, and the United States in early 1919. Voiced in the seven working languages of the ILO, this film celebrates the goals of the organization using the stirring words of the Preamble to the ILO Constitution.
