| Resumen: | The concept of a universal basic income (UBI) is currently gaining increasing prominence. At the end of last year, the international media reported widely on plans for a UBI pilot project in Finland while the Dutch city of Utrecht is planning similar pilots. In June, Switzerland will vote in a referendum on whether to adopt a UBI. Most recently, in the UK the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA) published a comprehensive report on a UBI model for the UK. |
