Resumen: Wage inequality in Argentina has substantially changed in the last decade. Du - ring this period there were also significant changes in the macroeconomic and trade policy. This paper studies the impact of the international trade changes on the wage structure of Argentina between 1998 and 2006. Particularly, with mi - crodata of household survey, we test the effect of import penetration and export intensity on the wage inequality on industrial sectors. The main outcome of the paper is that the effects were significant, generating a higher dispersion in the case of the imports and a higher equity in the case of the export.
