| Resumen: | This eAtlas features a wide range of indicators produced by the UNESCO Institute for Statistics (UIS). The UIS compiles education data for more than 200 countries and territories through its annual survey and partnerships with organizations such as the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and Eurostat. This eAtlas also features more specific information on teachers collected through a series of initiatives, including: new indicators on school conditions and teaching resources in sub-Saharan Africa collected through a regional survey; projections on the global demand for primary teachers updated on a yearly basis; and data on the working conditions and characteristics of teachers in 60 selected countries. |
